I’ve got some more review copies from Disney Publishing, Coconut Press and Bonaventure Press. Reviews will be coming shortly on Communicore Weekly and here! Any that you’re looking forward to reading?
- Star Wars: Dark Disciple by Christie Golden – this is a title based on several scripts for the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series that were never produced. It’s a really interesting read that takes us into the psyche of Asajj Ventress.
- The People V. Disneyland: How Lawsuits & Lawyers Transformed the Magic by David Koenig – I’m a huge fan of Koenig’s books, mainly because he is one of the few author’s with a journalistic background. He understands how to research a story as well as the importance of sources. You really have to remove your rose-colored mouse ears for this one, but it’s still a part of Disneyland history.
- The Complete Walt Disney World Fun Finds & Hidden Mickeys: The Definitive Disney Field Guide by Julie Neal and Mike Neal – a new guidebook by the Neals, that focuses on discovering all of the little details that make the magic of Disney Parks. It’s light on Hidden Mickeys (a good thing; they’re so passe) and really focuses on the details of the Magic Kingdom.
