Star Wars Rogue One Rebel Dossier
The Star Wars Rogue One Rebel Dossier book completely surprised me! Honestly, the book wasn’t what I expected; it enthralled me after only a few pages. This was really a fun book. Imagine being privy to a series of communiques, briefings and overviews meant for the Rebel Alliance high command. The Rebels know that the Empire is creating a weapon of some kind. This dossier helps tell the story in greater detail.
Most of the book is set up as a dossier from General Airen Cracken to Mon Mothma about Imperial personnel and weapons. Slipped between the reports on the Empire are mission overviews and memos on key Rebel Alliance personnel and ships. The Star Wars Rogue One Rebel Dossier is a fascinating look at the peoples, places, ships and events of the latest Star Wars film. Rogue One created almost more questions than it answered and anything that we can read to glean more details is important.
Even though the audience is 8-12 year-olds, most Star Wars fans are going to enjoy the book. With all of the new characters and places in Rogue One, it’s great to have a book that gives a brief overview, as well as insight into the film and the characters. The amount of detail provided in the book is pretty impressive.
There are several biographical entires about various personnel that help expand the stories of characters such as Cassian Andor, Bodhi Rook, Saw Gerrera and more. I like the layout of the book and the design works very well for the subject matter. It was weird that there were no page numbers, but a real dossier would be memos and clippings,
If you’ve got a younger Star Wars fan, then this is a must-have. Especially if they want insight about the Rogue One film.
