Join Jeff Pepper (from 2719 Hyperion), Andrew and me for our first Carolina Disney Meet.
We will be meeting at a theater in High Point on Saturday, June 28 for a matinee showing of Wall-E.
Email me (biblioadonis at yahoo dot com) for more information about the theater and time. We hope to see you there!
We are planning other meets across the state, so drop us a line or leave a comment if you want to attend a future event. I think our next meet is actually going to be in the Raleigh area…
Addendum: Several people have inquired about tickets for the movie. The theater does sell advanced tickets. You will need to purchase your ticket in advance through the theater website. I will forward details upon request.
Don’t forget to stop by our site and leave some Disney Geek love!

Ooh fantastic idea… I’ve long wondered why so many Disney bloggers seemed to be from NC. Anyway, Progress City is located in Chapel Hill and I’m not sure what next weekend is looking like for me, but hopefully I can make it. It depends on various logistics. Still, my folks are in Winston as is my Tiki Goddess so if I can clear my schedule maybe I can have a Triad weekend. Consider the event officially endorsed by the Progress City Council…
Wonderful idea George. If I lived in NC I would be there. We do the same thing here with our local NFFC chapter; something I like to call the “geek meet”. We’re going to Wall-E on the 28th also. Have fun!
I like it! Great idea, guys! Count me in… although I’m not a Disney Blogger, I played on on Imaginerding once. I can’t think of a better way to spend yet another encore performance of my 29th birthday.
I should be able to come up from Charlotte. Great idea!
Great idea. Too bad I’m hundreds of miles away.
cool! I’m pretty new to Disney fandom, but I’m in the Triangle area and would love to check out a local meetup.
If only I lived closer!
I’m goin ton Disney wor….umm I mean High Point!
I wish I lived a little closer.
Dang it!
I’m trying to get to there, but I’m at my dad’s house!
Wish I could get down there and meet up with you all catch the film. Sounds like it should a fun, probably very “interesting” time… Stay focused, George… it’s only 103 minutes. 😉
