Small update this week…when I got back from Disneyland, I had over 1200 items in my feed reader. Talk about an avalanche!
- Can you believe that Jeff Pepper got to go to Disneyland? He shares some pretty cool snapshots over at 2719 Hyperion.
- Ed from the Blog Wore Tennis Shoes has a great review of a 1972 Little Golden Book that takes place at the Magic Kingdom.
- Over at Boing Boing, they have a link (or two) to some really great Haunted Mansion cut-out projects.
- Another post in “The Haunted Mansion Rules” category…head on over to the Ghost Relations Blog and see how one kitty lived…and died. The Ghost Relations Blog has turned two years old! Ride your Doom Buggy over there and congratulate them!
- Jessica from If We Can Dream It has a wonderful post about a road trip!
- Tim At Vintage Disneyland Tickets, has posted a few pictures and scans from the NY World’s Fair Small World mailer/souvenir piece. He has even included the audio!
- Jennifer at Broke Hoedown shares some of her favorite Disney books. It is a great list and it is what I would expect her to read (she’s got a serious brain!).
- FoxxFurr at Passport to Dreams Old & New has a wonderful essay about time in the Magic Kingdom. Hurry on over there–time’s a’wastin’!
- David from Toons At War has a post about the Spandules. Included is a scan of an Army-related brochure with some wonderful illustrations.
- Kevin Kidney has another stellar post with some concept artwork for the Chemitron! Where is he getting this stuff?
- Cory the Raven at Voyages Extraordinaire shares a nautical legend about the Haunted Mansion.
- John Frost at The Disney Blog does a great job of handling the news items, but I couldn’t pass this one up. The Orlando Sentinal has released the estimated theme park attendance for 2007. Guess who has the top 5 spots?
- Daveland from his Pirates blog has posted some pictures of the Marc Davis painting of the “We wants the redhead” wench in the Haunted Grotto. Dave also provides some comparison shots.
- Jerry at Cartoon Brew sends us to a great auction site featuring a lot of vintage Disney animation collectibles.
- Ray at Grumpy’s Hollow shares a post about Tim Devine’s donation to Lou Mongello’s Dream Team auction at Magic Meets. It is a very beautiful portrait.
- Over at MichaelBarrier.com, Mr. Barrier links to Jeff Pepper’s site and commends him for his Sugar Bowl article. Way to go, Jeff!
Don’t forget to stop by our site and leave some Disney Geek love!

Wow!
Senor Pepper got mentioned in two geek links. That man gets around.
I still wish someone had got video of him clearing out the hoard of kids in Toontown to capture that picture of the mailbox (that is a joke for the uninitiated)
