Hi! My name’s Jeff. |
Jeff Kurtti, Disney writer extraordinaire, has started a weekly column called the Wonderful World of Walt at Disney.com. His first column looks at Newsies and how it shares a lot of similarities with Walt Disney’s early life.
This promises to be a spectacular column and I can’t wait to see what else Kurtti has up his sleeve!
Jeff has been an Imagineer, consultant to the Walt Disney Family Museum, DVD content producer, author and all around great guy. Books by Jeff Kurtti:
- Since the World Began is the seminal work on Walt Disney World history and needs to be owned by every WDW fan and enthusiast.
- The Art of Walt Disney World is a gorgeous large-format book that shares concept art that was used in planning, designing and building Walt Disney World.
- Walt Disney’s Imagineering Legends and the Genesis of the Disney Theme Park looks at the first Imagineers and and how they created the parks we love.
- Walt Disney World: Then, Now, and Forever is a unique and fantastic look at the history of WDW. It is more akin to a family scrapbook than a guidebook or souvenir guide.
- The Art of Disneyland is an amazing look at the concept art for Disneyland. It is extremely rare–if you can find a copy, grab it!
He has written more books than the ones I have reviewed. Check out the Jeff Kurtti Author Page for more of his titles.
